Hopefully someone can help. I have a Citroen bx 4tc group b rally car here and need a distributor for it. I believe citroen used the engine from a simca type 180, but I’m finding it extremely difficult to get a distributor for it. They seem to be like hens teeth, the one I need anyway. There’s a couple on eBay but they’re not quite right. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I'm guessing this is the 9NT (under Peugeot nomenclature)turbo engine, as fitted to the 505 Turbo. As this car was never available in the UK I don't expect the correct distributor would be easy to find here. All the early Chrysler 180/2L cars had contact breaker ignition. Presumably you need an electronic unit, and if so is it the standard 505 turbo distributor or something bespoke for group B cars?

Yeah I’ve been told it is the 9NT from the 505 turbo. We only need the body of the distributor as we’ll be using it as a half engine speed sensor rather than an actual dizzy because we are putting the system onto a modern ECU.
