Just a quick reminder about the NEC Classic, which is on from November 11th - 13th.
There will be over 1400 cars on show and this year's event promises to be better than ever. There will be a significant Rootes/Chrysler/Talbot presence...and the Simca Talbot Club will be there of course!
Plus - Cars for Sale | Live Stage | Restoration Theatre | Autojumble | 100s of Trade Stands | Dream Rides
Yes, set up day is tomorrow, the trusty Talbot Express will haul all the stuff we need for the stand, including the carpet, which makes all the difference to the drab black floors in the exhibition halls.
This year we will be showing Des Cooke's Simca 1100, a '69 Simca 1000, and two Alpines, my Sweetcorn Mk1, and Tony Owen's early Mk2 in Peony Red which has just been painted.
Hope to see you all there!
Those little yellow plugs - Ziebart Rust Proofing - the elixir of a long Simca life!
Will be there too Stu. Yep, tomorow will be a busy day for all at the NEC. Will be making my way to Hall 5 at some point over the weekend for a visit. Looking forward to seeing Tony's Peony red Alpine, seen plenty of pictures of it but that's not quite the same. My Peel Trident will be over in Hall 6 (no where near hall 5, typical !) on the National MicroCar Rally stand.
