Hi ! long time I haven't post anything here...My MATRA M530A is gone, I exchange it against a new project...After metal work on the Suimca 1000, Fiberglass on the MATRA M530A...I start with Wood on a De Dion BOUTON IM:)
2,4 l engine with water pump, over head valves and 48 BHP ! 4 speed gearbox All wheels brakes Max speed 95 km/h (best speed is 70 km/h for a smooth ride) RHD with gear shift and Hand brake lever at the right (against the driver door)
The previous owner wanted to exchange it against a MATRA 530 that was his parents car when he was a child, I'm happy to know my ex Matra is on such nice hands now ! Don't worry, I still got a personnal attention to all Simcas and will keep having an eye on the forum.
Good to hear from you again Regis. At the recent 'Restoration Show' I was looking at some wood framed cars from the same era. I am back on the road now and my collection has changed quite a bit too. I completed the restoration on my VF2 pickup, sold my Aronde Grand Large project and two SIMCA 1000 track cars. I have just replaced those with an ex German 'Youngtimer' racging SIMCA 1000. My 1200S coupe should be completed this year along with my 1000 Rallye 2 that needs crash repairs.
